About the Author/Artist
- Ruth Silnes
- Ruth is the author of KEEPING AHEAD OF WINTER/4100 Nautical Miles Inside America, an adventure story for adults and NAPTIME SECRETS, written under the pseudonym of Grama Gogo. At 96, she is an inspiration for young and old. Ruth is a lifelong artist who started her art career as a commercial artist and did children's portraits for friends and family. At age 88 she published her first book. Her latest book for adults, "YOU AND THE ARTS-Why Art Matters", is now available as an Ebook and will be in print spring 2011.
